Looking for a fun, relaxing and unique experience in Sydney? Step into the alluring world of fragrances with our natural perfumery workshop. Make your own signature scent and learn how to create two kinds of fragrances to take home with you; Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum.
We'll start with the history of perfume and different kinds of fragrances. Gain an understanding of how fragrance notes work and be guided through the fragrance pyramid and fragrance wheel. By the end of the class, you will have the confidence to layer fragrances and design your own signature scent.
With over 20 natural fragrances available in our studio, we'll explore the fragrance family from fresh, floral and fruity to spicy, earthy and woody. Using perfumer's grade alcohol, only natural essential and plant oils, you will create a scent profile that's unique to you.
You will be spoilt for choice of crowd favourites and niche scents like lemon, lavender, rose, basil, jasmine, cinnamon, vanilla, patchouli, chamomile and cedar wood to name a few. You will also be introduced to our very own Australian native ingredients like tea tree, eucalyptus and kunzea.
At the end of the class, you will make you own fragrances in two styles:
1) Your choice of Eau de Cologne or Eau de Toilette in a perfumer's grade alcohol base, 50ml spray bottle
2) Eau de Parfum, a luxurious oil-based perfume in a stylish 10ml bottle, a handbag or purse must-have
You will also receive a Fragrance Chart, which you will complete during the class. Take it home with you and re-create your signature scent or bring it back to our Studio to refill.
We'll also discuss the etiquette of perfumery; how to apply fragrances, what to do and not to do to make natural fragrances linger and last.
A beautiful, hands-on two-hour workshop (or longer!) suitable for individuals and couples, as well as team building, hens and birthday parties. Plethora of scents are available to suit male and female participants.
